What Does a Car Inspection Cost?

A pre-purchase car inspection with InspectCar costs $250 for Standard or $395 for Premium, done at the car’s location across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. Standard covers 150 points, with paint-depth spot checks, a battery load check, an underside check for leaks and corrosion, a scan for current and stored fault codes and a 5 to 7 km road test where possible, plus a digital report with 30+ photos. Premium covers 250+ points and adds 4×4, ute and van drivetrain checks, EV and hybrid battery and charging checks, luxury-car electronics, full paint-depth mapping, an extended road test, live-data diagnostics and a market valuation with negotiation tips. Both include a PPSR certificate and a report the same day.

On Standard you can add an EV or hybrid check for $60, a 4×4, ute or van check for $49, or full paint-depth mapping or a video walkthrough for $50. An Aviloo EV battery test is $250, or $450 with Premium.
