Inspection Reports

Your Car Inspection Report, Explained

A car inspection report is the written record of a pre-purchase inspection: what the inspector checked, what passed, what needs attention and why, with photos. InspectCar’s report covers 150 points on Standard or 250+ on Premium. Every check is marked as passed, with notes or not applicable, and anything that needs attention is listed at the top with the inspector’s comments. The report records the car’s VIN, registration and odometer reading, includes a PPSR certificate showing money owing, write-offs and theft records, and ends with the inspector’s summary. It arrives by email the same day, as a link you can open on your phone and save as a PDF.
