Terms of Services
Welcome to InspectCar. By using this website, booking an inspection or engaging any of our services you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These are the terms on which InspectCar and you (the customer) agree to deal with each other openly and honestly.
You should read the Terms for any relevant transaction or booking before you proceed. They become legally binding once accepted.
These terms applies to all users of our website https://inspectcar.com.au and our vehicle inspection services.
1. Services Offered
InspectCar is a specialist in independent and unbiased inspections of vehicles. Our services include but are not restricted to pre-purchase inspections, condition assessment, diagnostic checks and detailed inspections reports.
Inspectors who are trained and experienced carry out all inspections. They use professional tools and industry standard checklists and, if applicable, diagnostic technologies to produce accurate and reliable reports. Inspections are restricted to areas that are visible and easily accessible and do not include dismantling or invasive testing.
2. Book & Pay
Bookings can be made online or by contacting our Customer Support team. Bookings must be paid in full before the inspection.
Payments are non-refundable once an inspection is scheduled, except when InspectCar cannot provide the service. All additional fees such as travel surcharges and optional services will be communicated to you in advance of the inspection. You accept these Terms and Conditions by completing the payment.
3. Inspection Reports
Reports are sent electronically, usually the same day of the inspection. Each report is a professional opinion of the inspector based on visible and accessible components as of the inspection.
InspectCar will not dismantle components of the vehicle, perform internal system testing beyond visual and diagnosis checks, nor guarantee that there are no hidden or future defects. The reports are meant to help you make a decision and not as a sole basis for buying or rejecting a car.
4. Limitations of Liability
InspectCar makes every effort to ensure that the inspection reports are accurate and impartial. However, they only reflect the condition of the vehicle at the time of the inspection. We are unable to predict future performance or wear.
InspectCar will not be held responsible for any issues that are not disclosed, defects or changes to the vehicle’s condition or misrepresentations by third parties, sellers or dealers. Our liability is limited, to the extent allowed by law, to the cost of the inspection service.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
InspectCar will allow you to cancel or reschedule an inspection if you notify them at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled time. Should you cancel within the last 24 hours, be considered late cancellation or do not provide access to your vehicle payment will be withheld.
While we will do everything possible to reschedule at your convenience, we cannot make stipulations. We realize that unforeseen circumstances can and will happen.
6. Force Majeure
InspectCar is not responsible if we are unable to provide the services for reasons beyond our control such as where we were unable due to unauthorised access or events outside of our control. (5.6) in particular natural disasters, storm damage, accidents and breakdowns. We will attempt to reinstate or reschedule service as soon as it is safe to do so.
